Where do wedding theme ideas come from? Sometimes, a wedding style is drawn from what you don’t want to do on your wedding day. Other couples may find inspiration in watching and mimicking various popular wedding styles. No matter where your inspiration is drawn, what matters is that the wedding day feels like you designed it. For these two, that meant a white and green wedding theme creating a setting that felt like a fairyland.
Not only were we surrounded by the greenery of nature at this wedding venue, but every element of the wedding day details down to the wedding reception decorations was green-inspired. When planning your wedding around the color green this means that the flowers, tablecloths, bridesmaid dresses, and even the invitations include dark to light green wedding colors.
Balancing out the white and green wedding theme were elements of white to contrast the leading color. The bridesmaids wore differently styled dresses in varying shades of green while holding white parasols. Including parasols is such a perfect touch that I love seeing added as a bridesmaid accessory for the day!
This was an ethereal white and green wedding that left my jaw on the floor. It was an instantly clear wedding theme, but also tasteful and well balanced. Pulling from the gorgeous wedding color palette, an earthy, organic theme was incorporated into the decor and details. Mostly, all of this came together so beautifully due to an incredible vendor team that I loved!
What unified the look of the day the most was the floral designs from the wedding ceremony decorations to the reception decor and bouquets. The florals designed by the wedding planner were fully realized by Floressence Flowers’ creations. The couple was so happy with how it all turned out! Nothing better highlighted the choice of the color green as this wedding’s inspiration than these florals.
Spencer and Jordan were both lovely and kind and went all out on making their white and green wedding dream a reality! They had a gorgeous vision and even incorporated details such as the parasols that added fun to the day! When sifting between wedding color palette ideas it can be tough to know when you are possibly going too far with a particular look or theme. These two found ways to keep the day classy but still on theme.
Having a wedding venue with outdoor and indoor options covered in green also helped balance the look and feel of their design. The ladies got ready in the cutest house that overlooked a pond with a fountain along the most gorgeous bridge that we used for portraits. Spencer and Jordan also love the look of film photography and wanted a mix of both digital and film photos for their day.
This day held all of the design and decor ingredients necessary to make a day fit the couple exactly the way that they imagined!
