Gwendolyn had a vision for her Bridal Shoot in Chattanooga. She wanted a combination of an elegant feel and runaway bride vibe. I knew the perfect abandoned train station to take them to for this shoot. It gave that edgy feel which was exactly what we were going for. As a Chattanooga wedding photographer, I know countless locations to fit the vision of your day perfectly. I love dreaming up the perfect photoshoots with my couples and watch their dreams come to life.
I was in love with everything about this abandoned train station shoot in Chattanooga. The modern but edgy vibe gives me life and I love nothing more. I loved Gwendolyn’s curls pulled back in a bun with her simple pearl drop earrings and strapless dress with sleeves! She looked so elegant and was such a beautiful bride. The white simple satin heels and slit in the dress made such a romantic feel alongside the black classic suit that her husband wore!
I had them run alongside the train with her veil trailing behind and them walking on the tracks for the full runaway feel. Those photos turned out to be some of my favorites. They danced on the train tracks and danced the evening away. We also brought along some champagne to celebrate. The minimalism of the champagne coupes with babies breath was absolutely perfectly romantic!
The bride and groom’s love was moody, romantic, serene, peaceful, elegant and timeless. They were willing to stay until the sun went down and the moon came out for photos. We ended the night with flash when the moon came out. I had so much shooting these wedding portraits for these two and it was the perfect night in Chattanooga.
