Kayleigh and Hannah are destination wedding photographers based on the East Coast, renowned for their work across Italy, France, Thailand, Greece, and beyond. In addition to their photography careers, Kayleigh and Hannah are deeply committed to educating and empowering fellow photographers and are excited to share their expertise, techniques, and creative insights.
This workshop was designed for photographers seeking to elevate their destination wedding portfolios, connect with inspiring creatives, and immerse themselves in the breathtaking beauty of Tuscany. Unlike many workshops or styled shoots, it offers the unique opportunity to capture a complete wedding day, with extended shooting times to ensure you build the portfolio you envision.

Villa di Geggiano is a historic and charming villa located in the picturesque region of Tuscany, Italy. Situated just outside the city of Siena, in the village of Castelnuovo Berardenga, the villa is a perfect example of 18th-century Tuscan architecture. It is renowned for its stunning façade, elegant interiors, and lush gardens, making it a beautiful representation of the Italian aristocratic countryside estate. We are lucky enough to have the entire venue and grounds to ourselves, so we will be utilizing all of their interior spaces as well as the exterior grounds and gardens.

THE LOCATIONS
Villa di Maiano is a historic villa located in the rolling hills of Fiesole, just a few miles outside Florence, Italy. Nestled amidst the Tuscan countryside, the villa offers breathtaking views of the Arno Valley and the iconic cityscape of Florence. This estate is celebrated for its rich history, of which we can’t wait to highlight within our shoots. This shoot will be split into two dramatic scenes, starting in the gardens and finishing in the rustic lemon houses filled to the brim with candles.

Immerse yourself in a full wedding day experience at the stunning Villa di Geggiano. This comprehensive shoot covers every detail, starting with getting-ready moments and progressing through a ceremony, couple portraits, a reception, and a reception setup. The ceremony will feature organic floral inspiration with a palette of greens and yellows, creating a natural and fresh aesthetic with unique seating. The reception showcases a round table adorned with a lush, garden-inspired centerpiece that seems to grow organically from the table itself. This shoot provides an unmatched opportunity to build a wedding portfolio that tells a complete story from start to finish.
June 11, 2025 | Villa di Maiano
The final day of the workshop begins in the expansive gardens of Villa di Maiano, utilizing the morning light to capture refined imagery. The shoot concludes indoors with a candlelit scene set within a private cove of the villa. Candles line the backdrop, creating a ambiance of warmth and intimacy. The workshop concludes here, allowing participants to reflect on their work and connections as they prepare for departure.

How many spots are available?
There are 18 spots available for this exclusive workshop.
Can I bring a plus-one or additional guests?
Additional guests or plus-ones are not permitted due to limited space.
Will there be food and drinks provided?
While we do not provide food or drinks, we will be offering a lunch on June 10th during the full wedding day shoot. Please note that shoot times may overlap with standard meal times. We will do our best to accommodate food allergies and preferences, but please keep this in mind when planning.
What is NOT included in the workshop?
Transportation to and from Tuscany, including flights, local transportation, and any other travel-related expenses, is the responsibility of the attendee. Accommodations are also not provided, so you will need to arrange your own stay in Tuscany.
Is there a payment plan available?
There are two payment plans available for the Tuscany Workshop. The first plan includes two payments: a $2,700 retainer due at booking and the remaining due by April 9, 2025. The second plan offers three payments of $1,850: a retainer due at booking, followed by equal payments on March 9 and April 9, 2025. Payments can be made via bank transfer, debit card, or credit card. No other payment plans will be offered.
What’s the weather like in Tuscany during June?
June in Tuscany is typically warm, with temperatures ranging from 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F). Be sure to bring sunscreen, light clothing, and comfortable shoes for walking.
Do I need to have prior experience in destination weddings to attend?
This workshop is open to all photographers, from beginners to seasoned professionals. Whether you're just starting in the destination wedding industry or want to refine your skills, this workshop will inspire and support your growth.
Is there any education for this workshop?
The primary focus of this workshop is hands-on shooting and building your portfolio. However, there will be an opportunity to get your top questions answered. The hosts will have an open Q&A, where attendees can ask about getting into the destination wedding industry, navigating that market, and how to position yourself for success.
